Carlton has a new supporter and we couldn’t be happier!
Italian icon Umberto Tozzi is now #BoundByBlue after donning the famous jumper on Sunday.
The pop singer was the star attraction at the Carlton Italian Festa, held at Piazza Italia near Lygon Street in Carlton’s heartland.
Carlton’s membership team, who were on hand to sign up or renew existing members at the festa, couldn’t resist handing Tozzi the navy blue guernsey.

Tozzi’s most famous international hits include ‘Ti amo’ which was released in 1977 and his love song ‘Gloria’.
After ‘Gloria’ was released in 1979, the song was so popular it stayed in the Italian Top 10 charts for 16 weeks!
