CARLTON has locked in its VFLW side that’ll take on Geelong today.

After starting their season with a loss to reigning premiers North Melbourne, the Blues have made three changes for the Round 2 clash at Deakin University in Geelong.

From an AFLW-listed perspective, Maddy Hendrie will play her first game of the campaign as she looks to provide a steadying hand in defence alongside Amelia Velardo.

There’s also a first game of the season for the experienced Danika Di Santo, while new recruit Roxy Maslin will make her VFLW debut.

After making her comeback from an ACL injury last week, Erone Fitzpatrick won’t feature for the VFLW Blues, while Scout Howden will miss through injury. Hannah Scott is the third and final change.

Joining Hendrie and Velardo from an AFLW-listed standpoint will be Brooke Vickers, who had 13 disposals and 10 tackles on return last week, as well as the exciting Lila Keck and draftee Loulou Field.

The action begins from 12:05pm at Deakin University in Geelong, with the game to be streamed as always on the AFL website.
