Carlton’s Andrew Carrazzo has had a minor setback in his preparation for the upcoming season.
Carrazzo has suffered a strain in his right calf, which will prevent him from lining up in Monday night’s NAB Challenge clash with Adelaide.
Carlton’s GM - Football Operations Andrew McKay says the vice-captain should be ready to return by Round 2.
“Andrew had been progressing really well until pulling up sore at training this week,” McKay said.
“Scans have revealed he has suffered a minor calf strain, but fortunately it’s not the same calf that he injured late last season.
“We expect Andrew will be back playing in a month.”
