Carlton has recalled Nick Stevens and Shaun Grigg for Saturday nights match against Essendon at the MCG.

Stevens returns to the side after missing the opening two matches of the season due to suspension, while Grigg returns to the side after he strained his hamstring during the NAB Challenge match against Fremantle in Bunbury.

Stevens and Grigg replace Michael Jamison and Heath Scotland in the team.

Jamison in expected to miss 2 to 3 weeks with a shoulder injury, while Scotland has been left out of the 22.
