Northern Bullants v Bendigo Bombers

The NAB Northern Bullants begin the 2009 VFL season this Sunday 12 April against Essendon's affiliate the Bendigo Bombers at Visy Park.
The opening clash will no doubt gain intensity as it follows the Carlton v Essendon match held the previous night.
Expected to line up for the Bullants will be star Carlton midfielder Andrew Carrazzo who will be returning from injury. Despite the expected promotion of Nick Stevens, it is unsure at this stage whether Brad Fisher or Shaun Grigg will break into the Carlton side that defeated the Brisbane Lions on Saturday night.
The senior side to take on the Bendigo Bombers is expected to be strong with a number of Bullants-listed players pushing for senior selection this week after some impressive performances in Saturday's reserves match including Wes Bilney, Shaun Everington, Luke Morgan, Carl Groth and Nick Meese.

The reserves match will commence at 11.10am at Visy Park. Remember Public Transport is the best way to the footy and if you present your Metcard at the gate you will receive FREE ENTRY.
