CARLTON forward Jack Silvagni will undergo surgery in Perth on Monday to have a small ITB (iliotibial band) release procedure.

Head of Football Brad Lloyd said the operation would provide Silvagni with the best opportunity to assist in his recovery from a knee injury.

“This is a standard procedure that we’re confident will aid Jack’s recovery and we expect him to miss between 4-6 weeks.”
