Some Carlton players are sporting new accessories this month in a bid to raise awareness for men’s health issues.

Led by defender Jeremy Laidler, players including Simon White, Dennis Armfield, Nick Duigan and Shaun Hampson have all joined the Movember movement and are calling on Carlton fans to show their support.

Dennis Armfield's moustache is coming along nicely...

“This is a really great initiative that some of the boys have got behind not only for a bit of fun, but also to promote a very important cause,” Simon said.

“The work that organisations like the Prostate Cancer Foundation and beyondblue do in the community is crucial, so hopefully all our supporters can get behind us and donate to this incredibly worthwhile cause.”

Forming a team imaginatively titled “Blue Boys", they can be found on the Movember page for those interested in pledging a donation. Click here to be taken directly to their page.

In 2011, over 854,000 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas around the world got on board, raising AUD 124 million.
