Carlton has made four changes to the line-up, bringing back Mitch Robinson and Andrew Walker from injury along with Matthew Watson and Rhys O’Keeffe, for the clash against Brisbane at Etihad Stadium this Saturday night.

Both Robinson and Walker have missed three weeks with a calf injury, Robinson being a late withdrawal for the Blues round 17 victory over the Western Bulldogs while Walker injured his calf early in Carlton’s round 16 loss to North Melbourne.

Matthew Watson has been recalled after two games with the Northern Blues in the VFL, replacing the injured Michael Jamison who strained his hamstring in last week’s loss to Sydney.

Rhys O’Keeffe will play his first game for the season and only his second AFL game after making his AFL debut in round 14 last year against West Coast at Etihad Stadium.

Carlton’s General Manager of Football Andrew McKay said O’Keeffe’s inclusion was a credit to his persistence and perseverance.

“Rhys has been hampered by a string of unlucky injuries, so his selection is reward for all the hard work he has put in to get his body right,” he said.

“He has not played a senior game since half way through last year, but has been performing really well in the VFL and done everything the coaches have asked of him.”

The four players out of the side that lost to Sydney by 22-points last Sunday are Michael Jamison who has an injured hamstring, while Andrew Collins, Aaron Joseph and Marcus Davies have been omitted.
