On the field, Eddie Betts is a fan favourite. The 170-game veteran is one of Carlton's leaders, who always manages to muster magic in front of goal.
Off the field, he's a father, fiancé and fan of country music.
We caught up with Betts and put him On The Spot.
Who was your favourite AFL player growing up?
Definitely former Adelaide Crows player Andrew McLeod. Being born in Port Lincoln, I grew up barracking for the Crows. Now of course I'm a Blue boy, but Andrew McLeod is still my favourite player.
If you weren't playing AFL, what would you be doing?
Having spent a lot of my life in Western Australia, I would probably be working in the mines. I'm very happy to be playing football.
What's your number one fashion tip?
I don't know if it's a tip, but there are a lot of guys at Carlton walking around with the same kind of haircut – with the little comb-over. We call them the "one-directions". Nick Graham is right up there - he loves his hairstyles.
What are you listening to on your iPod?
A bit of everything. Mostly country and R&B. I actually just bought tickets to see Alan Jackson at the end of this year. When I bought the tickets, I showed Jeff (Garlett) and the next day he went and bought three!
When you aren't playing footy, what are you doing?
At the moment, I'm focused on being a dad. I spend a lot of time looking after my son Lewis. On my days off my fiancée Anna works, so I have Lewis to myself all day. I love it – just him and me.
