Most of us can think of worst places than the Gold Coast... but for Mitch Robinson and co. it was very much “fly in fly out” for the Suns match last weekend.

As Mitch explains in this week’s edition of The Carlton Podcast with co-host Tony Moclair, sun and surf ran a very poor second to the mission at Metricon.

“It was never going to be a holiday,” Mitch said. “It was just a different venue where we were going to do our thing, hopefully get the four points and get back.”

In this week’s edition, hear Mitch and Moclair discuss a myriad of issues including:

•         Ed Curnow’s giant-killing role on Gazza;

•         the players’ wayward goalkicking; and

•         the Robinson-Ablett “exchange”.
