Carlton's four Indigenous players say they'd be honoured to be selected to represent Australia in October's International Rules Series in Ireland.
The first Test between the Indigenous All-Stars and the Irish has been set down for Saturday 19 October at County Cavan's Kingspan Park.
Eddie Betts, Jeff Garlett, Andrew Walker and Chris Yarran are all a chance to earn a call-up.
Defender Andrew Walker says it would be a terrific opportunity.
"It will be pretty humbling, especially as an Indigenous player, and I think it's a great initiative."
Indigenous players from across the AFL have echoed Walker's sentiment, while many also see it as a chance to play alongside other Indigenous stars, including Adam Goodes and Buddy Franklin.
But Eddie Betts says there are too many big names to single out just one.
"I don't know who I'm looking forward to playing with the most. I am just looking forward to playing for Australia."
Sydney great Michael O'Loughlin has been named as the Indigenous All-Stars coach.
The Australian squad is set to be announced next month.
