As Carlton’s new draftees make their way to Ikon Park, it’s safe to say they won’t be the newest kids on the block for long!
The 2015/2016 NAB AFL Rookie Draft will be held on Friday November 27 at 11am, with all 18 clubs to lodge their selections from their club base.
There will be no pre-season draft, however, with all eligible clubs advising the AFL they would not be participating.

Carlton’s General Manager of List Management and Strategy, Stephen Silvagni, looks set to use two picks in the rookie draft to finalise the Blues list.
Irishmen Ciaran Byrne and Ciaran Sheehan, along with Cameron Wood and Billy Gowers, currently sit on Carlton’s rookie list.
Last season Sheehan and Wood were nominated rookies, meaning they could be selected for senior games.
