LEVI Casboult says he's proud to notch up a century of AFL games, becoming the first player in Carlton history to do so in the No.41.

Pending selection, the 28-year-old will achieve the feat against the Bulldogs on Friday night, saying the milestone game was something he had targeted since joining the Club he grew up barracking for.

“It’s pretty cool. When I first got here, you see all the names on the lockers and there’s some pretty famous names, so to be able to get my name on the locker - it will be in history,” Casboult told Carlton Media.

“It’s my part of being a part of the Club,” he said.

At 201cm tall, Casboult has led the Blues for contested marking over the past three years. The tall forward matches his marking with goalkicking prowess, having managed 36 majors in the 2017 season (a team-high).

In a testament to his durability, he's also missed just two of the Blues' past 49 matches.

Despite the impressive statistics under his name, Casboult said he would continue to strive for improvement. 

“You just want to keep improving each year. I’m 28 now but I go into each pre-season looking at what I can improve on and what I can do better," he said.

“Now we’re into games so I’m just trying to keep building on that (contested marking).

“Obviously, we’ve got Harry (McKay) who played on the weekend and Charlie (Curnow) who are pretty good marks themselves, and so there’s going to be competition, but competition is always healthy.”
