Gold Coast have so far enjoyed a strong season, with only last week beating Collingwood by seven points.
The last time these two sides met was in round 22 of last year, where The Suns defeated The Blues by 12 points.
In this weekend’s clash, Carlton will be looking to lock in its third win in a row.
Simon White
A major blow for Carlton’s Simon White, with scans confirming he has suffered a fractured vertebrae in his neck.
White suffered the injury playing in Saturday’s VFL match for the Northern Blues.
The 25-year-old will miss the rest of the AFL season, and will wear a neck brace spanning from his chest to his neck for the next eight weeks.
It’s expected that White will make a full recovery and will be back playing next year.
