It’s less than a week since his arrival from the west, but Robert Wiley has already made an impression.

As the newly-appointed Carlton Director - Development and Coaching, one of the game’s most decorated former players has attacked the role with a genuine zeal.

Wiley’s enthusiasm for the task at hand is palpable, as evidenced in his recent interview for CFC TV. Here the Richmond Premiership player of 1980 and eight-time Perth club best and fairest canvasses his many and varied views, from how he can best assist the Carlton players and coaches alike; through to his “good cop bad cop” association with the Senior Coach-elect Michael Malthouse;  and the nature of his involvement in the impending national draft.
