Getting ready for the Brownlow Medal is something we think about for the ladies but thanks to Crown Lager the players have had the chance to prepare for the big night.

Marc Murphy and Brendan Fevola are two Carlton players who have made the most of the special opportunity made available by Crown Lager as they relax before the Brownlow Medal Dinner this evening. ‘Murph’ and ‘Fev’ spent some time at the Crown Lager Royal Suite at Crown Towers on Monday for some VIP treatment.

The Crown Lager Royal Suite had everything a bloke could need to look his best on Brownlow night. Old-school barbers, a wet-shave expert, style consultants, masseurs and even a golf pro to help their putting stroke. And as a special treat they were able to enjoy tasting of the limited edition Crown Ambassador Reserve Lager with the Brewer, Michael Jontef.

While ‘Murph’ and ‘Fev’ may not have taken advantage of all that was available they certainly enjoyed the opportunity to relax before the big night and both enjoyed a chat about Crown Lager and in particular the Ambassador Reserve Lager with the Brewer.

The Crown Lager Royal Suite is part of the inaugural Crown Lager Best Dressed Man Award at the 2009 Brownlow Medal. The objective of the Crown Lager Best Dressed Man award is to motivate the players to step up in the fashion stakes.

The official announcement of the Crown Lager Best Dressed Man will take place at the Crown Lager after party immediately after the telecast is complete. Early indications are that Marc Murphy is one of the favourites to be the inaugural Crown Lager Best Dressed Man.
