Some lucky kids and parents from Down Syndrome Victoria were special guests in the Carlton change rooms on Friday night, after the Blues emphatic win over Brisbane.

They started out the night forming a guard of honour on field that they players ran through, before cheering the Blues to victory from the stands.

Eddie Betts, Dennis Armfield and acting Carlton Captain Marc Murphy spent time with the kids following the win, with Brock McLean even donating his boots to one of the young supporters.

Carlton’s community partner on Saturday night, Down Syndrome Victoria is the state-wide peak membership organisation representing people with Down Syndrome and their families.

Their mission is to provide support, encouragement, information and resources to people with Down Syndrome, their families and the broader community.
