Two experienced Blues have earned a spot in AFL Media’s Round 10 Team of the Week.
Carlton leaders Bryce Gibbs and Matthew Kreuzer made it into the best 22 following outstanding efforts in Carlton’s 17-point loss to North Melbourne on Sunday.
Gibbs amassed a huge 38 disposals, laid six tackles and booted three goals against the Roos and was instrumental in his side’s 47-point turnaround.
The midfielder was afforded a place in the Round 10 team alongside Geelong’s Joel Selwood and Hawthorn’s Shaun Burgoyne in the centre.
Meanwhile, Kreuzer was selected as a follower alongside Demon Nathan Jones and Crow Rory Sloane.
The reliable tall managed a career-high 46 hit-outs and was prolific across the field with 18 disposals, five clearances and nine tackles.
With the 28-year-old in career-best form, he’s well placed to celebrate his 150th AFL game when the side returns after this week’s bye to face GWS at Etihad Stadium on Sunday 11 June.
