On Sunday 19 March, the 2017 Melbourne Tomato Festival will coincide with Carlton’s AFLW team’s final-round match against Brisbane.
The Blues will take on the Lions at Ikon Park from 3:35pm, and with the festival kicking off at 10:00am at All Nations Park in Northcote, there’s no reason you can’t experience both.
With these three simple steps, you’ll be bound to have a delicious day.
Step 1: Arrive at Melbourne Tomato Festival from 10:00am.
Head to All Nations Park, Separation St, Northcote, to enjoy a variety of entertainment.
There’ll be local farmers selling produce, agriculturalists, speakers, cooking demonstrations, Italian food, artisan producers, special guests, workshops and more.
While you’re there, be sure to visit the Northern Blues, who will help you refine your handball skills.

Step 2: After enjoying the Festival, pull on your Carlton guernsey and head to Ikon Park to support the Blues.

Step 3: Cheer on the Blues as they run out on their home turf to battle the Lions from 3:35pm.
