CARLTON will kick off the 2019 JLT Community Series against Essendon at Ikon Park, as the AFL unveiled the fixture for the pre-season competition on Monday morning.
In a Thursday night clash, members and supporters will get the chance to watch the Blues take on the Bombers at their traditional home, with the first bounce scheduled for 6:40pm.
Lining up against two old rivals, Carlton will also face off against 2018 grand finalist Collingwood in week two of the JLT Community Series.
The Blues will travel to Morwell Recreational Reserve on Monday 11 March to battle with the Pies at 2:10pm, as the competition heads to regional parts of the state.

All matches will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and the AFL Live app.
As confirmed on Saturday evening, the Blues and Tigers will once again kick off the premiership season in the traditional opener at the MCG on Thursday 21 March.
The full fixture for the AFL 2019 Toyota AFL Premiership Season will be released on Wednesday.
