IT’S shaping up to be a perfect day for footy at Ikon Park tomorrow.
And while two of the Blues’ three teams will be away this weekend, the Northern Blues is bracing for a big home clash against Frankston.
A win would establish a 4-1 start for the VFL Blues after seven rounds, with an array of Carlton youngsters due to be in action from 2pm tomorrow.
Having moved from Preston City Oval to Ikon Park, entry to the match will now be free for Carlton and/or Northern Blues members.

We have a venue change and a live stream to announce ahead of this Saturday!#Northbound
While the team will be finalised later tonight, there could be as many as 14 AFL-listed players featuring on Saturday.
On the back of a bye, Northern will have its sight set on keeping its positive run going, coming off a 35-point triumph against North Melbourne a fortnight ago.
With the forecast currently sitting at 20 degrees and sunny, get down to the footy to support the VFL Blues in action.
For those who can’t get there, the Carlton Youtube channel will supply a stream of the game from 2pm. It will be on the back of Carlton’s first VFLW game of the season, which will be streamed from 11:30am on the VFL website.
