CARLTON veteran Dale Thomas has been charged with striking by the Match Review Officer following an incident in Saturday’s game against Adelaide.
The incident occurred with one minute remaining in the second quarter, when Thomas made contact with Crow Lachie Murphy.
The strike was classified as a low-level offence, graded as careless conduct, low impact and high contact.

The 32-year-old has been handed a $5,000 fine, which can be reduced to $3,000 with an early plea.
The Club has until 11am tomorrow to respond to the charge.
