CARLTON interim coach David Teague has confirmed that midfielder Zac Fisher will line up to face West Coast.
Teague was happy to reveal the third-year Blue would make his return to the senior side after a week on the sidelines through illness.
Speaking to media on Friday morning, Teague was looking forward to the challenge of facing the reigning premiers on the Blues’ home deck.
“Zac will come back this week. He was ill last week so he’s ready to go,” Teague said.
Fisher is one of four potential inclusions to Carlton’s Round 20 line-up, with the final team set to be released on Friday at 5pm.
Despite their top-two ladder position, Teague is looking forward to the challenge of taking on the reigning premiers.
“They’re a very good side. They’ve got talent across the whole field and it’s going to be a great challenge that we’re really looking forward to this weekend,” he said.
“We’re playing some good football and what you want to be able to do is beat the best.”
Can we make it four from four against the reigning premiers?

Here is everything you need to know about the Eagles before Sunday.#BoundByBlue
The clash will see the Blues come up against the Eagles’ premiership-winning forward line featuring Josh Kennedy and Jack Darling.
Teague is eager to see his charges continue their dominance through the centre to keep the ball out of the hands of their opponent’s elite offensive unit.
“They’re a very good side but we need to be able to match them in the contest and keep the ball going forward,” he said.
“Ideally if we can keep it in our front half that’ll give us a chance to score. They’ve got a very dangerous forward line so the less the ball gets in their forward line the better.”
Speaking on a potential Weitering-Kennedy match-up, Teague is confident his Blues are prepared for the attacking style of the in-form Eagles.
“There is a good chance that will happen,” he said of Jacob Weitering getting the job on Josh Kennedy.
“They’ve got a good mix of goalkickers so I’m looking forward to the challenge to see how our backs handle it.”
