THE Northern Blues will welcome back five Carlton-listed players from injury tomorrow afternoon.
Looking to capitalise on last week’s winning start, Northern has named some AFL talent for its trip to Victoria Park.
Debutant Matthew Cottrell, Harrison Macreadie and Tom Williamson will all play their first games of the year, while the midfield has been boosted with the returns of Matt Kennedy and Andrew Phillips.
After realising his dream of being drafted to his boyhood club, Cottrell has been named on the wing after a knee injury delayed the start to his season.
We've waited a long time for this.

Exciting youngsters Macreadie and Williamson are also back in the line-up, as they take significant steps in their returns from back injuries.
Kennedy and Phillips also return to action after missing both AFL and VFL action with respective corked quads.
After featuring for Carlton last weekend, experienced talls Levi Casboult and Matthew Lobbe have also been added to Northern’s line-up. Alex Fasolo has also been declared fit to play after coming from the ground early in last week’s one-point VFL win.
The Easter Saturday game at Victoria Park begins from 2pm.
