The Carlton Football Club has a proud and very successful history with a record equalling 16 AFL premierships testimony to the wonderful success.

Such a wonderful history and only ten players are official Legends of the Carlton Football Club, such is the honour of being inducted as an official Carlton Legend.

In 1997 the first Carlton Legends were inducted; these nine players were selected from the Carlton Hall of Fame:

•    Craig Bradley
•    Bert Deacon
•    Bruce Doull
•    Alex Jesaulenko
•    Wayne Johnston
•    Stephen Kernahan
•    John Nicholls
•    Stephen Silvagni
•    Harry “Soapy” Vallence

In 2006 the great Ken Hands was elevated to Legend status, taking this prestigious group to ten.

On March 26th at the Carlton Hall of Fame Dinner, celebrating the 1981/82 premiership reunion, one more player will become an official Carlton Legend, while five other Carlton greats will be inducted into the Carlton Hall of Fame.
