HARRIET Cordner has been nominated for the 42-person All-Australian squad.

Playing every game in the 2024 season, Cordner was a stalwart in Carlton’s defence, averaging 12 disposals, seven intercept possessions, and six contested possessions per game.

Celebrating her 50th game in Week 3, the 32-year-old recorded career-best numbers in her eighth AFLW season, resulting in her second nomination for the All-Australian squad.

Her best game of the season came in Week 8 against the Bulldogs, where she recorded a career-high 21 disposals and 11 intercept possessions in tough conditions at IKON Park.

Cordner also averaged 99.8 per cent of time on ground - more than any other player in the league.

Cordner has become a key leader for the younger defenders, especially in the absence of skipper Kerryn Peterson. Her drive and professionalism are equalled only by her infectious energy and talent for inspiring those around her.

Having signed on for another year in Navy Blue, Cordner will be looking to put together another dominant season in 2025.

The team will be announced on the 25th of November at the W Awards.
