SIX CHANGES
Several changes have been made to Carlton’s game-day squad for tomorrow after their eight-point loss to Greater Western Sydney last week.
Carlton will come up against a determined Collingwood outfit who have a point to prove this season — still searching for their first win.
The Blues were handed their second loss in a row and they will want to jump back on the winners list in their Round 4 clash.
AFLW-listed Taylor Ortlepp has been added to the lineup whilst Isla Baldwin, Isabelle Parnell and Layla Prince also return to the side. Simone Mooney and Mel Staunton have earned call-ups for the first time in 2024.
Mooney was named as an emergency in the previous round, but she has been elevated into the team starting on the interchange.
Staunton is an exciting prospect for the Blues, being named best on ground playing for the AFL Academy Girls against an Under 23 All-Stars side in 2023 while a member of the GWS Academy.
Carlton will be without AFLW-listed players Mia Austin, Lily Goss, Keeley Sherar, Georgia Tait and Brooke Vickers this week.
Danika Di Santo has also been named as an emergency alongside Georgia Tait and Evie Lee.
Carlton will travel to Victoria Park on Saturday to face Collingwood, kicking off at 12pm (AEST).
