IT WILL be a milestone celebration for Phoebe McWilliams this weekend who will run out in her 50th AFLW game against the Kangaroos this Sunday afternoon. 

The talented forward's 50th game will also mark an important return from injury, having not played at the top level since Round 4 of Season 7. 

Having previously played with the GWS Giants and Geelong, McWilliams will further bolster Carlton's forward line alongside Mia Austin and Darcy Vescio.

Carlton will also gain the experience of inaugural Blue Gab Pound, who makes her way into the team for the first time in 2023. 

Unfortunately, Daisy Walker will miss this week's game after dislocating her shoulder against the Suns in Round 1 while Taylor Ortlepp has been omitted. 

Each of the debutants from Round 1 (Marianna Anthony, Erone Fitzpatrick and Maddy Hendrie) will also hold their spots after impressive showings against Gold Coast last week. 

Kicking off at Arden Street on Sunday 10 September at 3:05pm, Carlton and the North Melbourne Tasmania Kangaroos will come together for a family-friendly day of fun, with part proceeds going to the Royal Children’s Hospital’s Good Friday Appeal.
