Jake Bradley will play for the Northern Blues Development side this weekend.
The son of Carlton games-record holder Craig, Jake is a Northern Knights product who has been training with the AFL side since the end of June and is part of Carlton’s Peter Dean Father-Son Academy.
A father-son prospect for Carlton, Jake is also aligned to the Northern Blues through the Knights-Blues pathway.
Bradley has played seven games for the Knights this year in the TAC Cup, kicking five goals and averaging just shy of 20 disposals a game.

Northern Knights Talent Manager Rhy Gieschen said Bradley’s appearance in the Development League presented a big opportunity for his continued development.
“Jake’s year has been one of consistent improvement – he is getting better with every game he plays at this level,” Gieschen said.
“He is a 177cm midfielder who can play both inside or outside mid and is extremely diligent with his training and diet. I’d say he looks after himself better than any other player on our list.
“Obviously Craig’s greatest asset was his running ability and Jake is no different. He ran a 16.2 beep test in March and a 9.55min 3km so he is absolutely elite in that category.”
The Development side will host the Casey Scorpions at Ikon Park on Saturday morning at 11am, with the VFL match to take place at 2pm against Richmond.
