Scans have cleared Carlton’s Troy Menzel of any structural damage to his right knee.
Menzel has sustained some bone bruising, after he landed awkwardly during the 4th quarter of last night’s win vs North Melbourne.
He will be available for selection for Carlton’s next game, the round 19 clash against Fremantle on Thursday 31 July.
Carlton’s General Manager of Football Andrew Mckay said post match Menzel was pretty confident there was no serious damage.
“As awkward as it looked in the replay, Troy actually felt ok post match and the scans this morning showed no structural damage to his knee”
“With the bone bruising Troy will be sore for a few days, but with next weekend being the BYE round, he will be available for selection against Fremantle.”
