WILL Hayes will become Carlton AFL player No.1232 on Sunday afternoon.
The former Western Bulldog - who was selected out of the Carlton Reserves in the mid-season draft - has been named as medical sub for the Round 17 clash with West Coast.
Hayes has impressed as an inside midfielder and on the wing for the VFL Blues this season, averaging over 30 disposals and just under a goal a game throughout the VFL campaign.
He comes into the side as the Blues also swing a late change, with Matthew Owies (calf strain) coming out of the selected line-up.
Emergency Josh Honey has been elevated into the starting 22.
