After a career-best season in 2022, it was a difficult year for Corey Durdin, who was hampered by multiple injuries.
Playing 11 games in 2023, Durdin still managed 11 goals and was impactful as a small forward when he was able to take the field, averaging four tackles a match.
The 21-year-old played every game from Round 2 before suffering a knee injury in Round 11 that required surgery.
Upon his return to the VFL in Round 18, the forward unfortunately sustained a shoulder injury that also required surgery, seeing him out until Round 24, which was his last game for the season.
Now primed for 2024, Durdin will be looking to return to the ‘mosquito fleet’ and return to his regular, damaging self in the forward 50.
