THE GAME IN FOCUS:
It’s going to be a big clash when the Blues meet the Pies at the MCG on Sunday.
In the 27th instalment of the Peter Mac Cup, both sides will be fighting for a win to give themselves a momentum boost in the latter rounds of the home-and-away season.
Carlton is currently leading the ledger in the Peter Mac Cup, winning 14 games to Collingwood’s 12, and will be looking to widen that margin at all costs against the old enemy on Sunday.
The Pies got the better of the Blues earlier in the year, and the Blues will definitely be looking to respond after last time's defeat, as well as their defeat at the hands of the Cats last Saturday.

BLUE FOCUS:
The Pies are very effective when it comes to disposing of the football, which has been an area that the Blues will have to focus on this weekend.
Carlton will need to put their team defence to the test in order to break up Collingwood's ball movement, as well as making sure they capitalise on their opportunities going forward when in possession.
To get on top of an in-form Collingwood, Carlton will need to back in its weapons, using their pace on the wide expanses of the MCG to their advantage and keep their run going for four quarters.
GET EXCITED ABOUT:
Liam Jones' return to the side will be a welcome addition to the defensive structure that held up admirably against Geelong last weekend.
While Jacob Weitering put on a clinic against Tom Hawkins, having his partner in crime back in the fold will only strengthen the Blues' defence.
The Blues will also welcome back an injection of pace, with Zac Fisher returning to the side this weekend.
Fisher's forward prowess will be a welcome addition to the side, with his class by foot being an asset.
The medical sub will be announced an hour before the bounce on Sunday.
This is so special.

BLUE VIEW:
While the Bluebaggers won’t be able to watch the game live, the game will be broadcast on free-to-air television, as well as Fox Footy and Kayo.
With fans in lockdown all around the country, it won't be the same without a roaring crowd packing out the home of football. The support that the Navy Blue faithful brings to Carlton won't be understated, with all Carlton players to run out with the name of a member on the back of their guernsey this weekend.
