It’s US v Hawthorn as we kick off the 2016 NAB Challenge on Thursday night in Launceston.

Our senior coach Brendon Bolton is in familiar territory: not only is he coaching in his home state of Tasmania, but he’s also taking on his former team.

There’s no doubt the Blues will be opening their 2016 account against the best in the business.

Getting to the ground:

Walking:
Aurora Stadium is just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Launceston.  From the Brisbane Street Mall turn left into St John Street heading north until you reach Cimitiere Street.  When you reach Cimitiere Street turn right until you reach Tamar Street, then turn left.  On Tamar Street continue walking over the Tamar Street Bridge where you can continue to walk along Invermay Road until you reach Aurora Stadium or you can walk through Inveresk to reach the Stadium.

Car and Parking:
If you are travelling by car there is plenty of street parking close to the stadium, as well as two designated parking areas within Inveresk Precint. 

Bus:
Launceston’s public bus transport company, Metro, provides a range of services within Launceston.  For full details on services to and from Aurora Stadium visit the Metro website.

Taxi:
Launceston has a number of taxi companies operating and can arrange transport to and from Aurora Stadium.
