FOR THE second time in season 2021, Sam Walsh has polled a perfect 10 in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award.

Walsh had a record-breaking game against the Crows when he gathered 38 disposals (his most in a single game), as well as producing 28 uncontested possessions, nine score involvements and nine inside 50s.

It was the 10th time Walsh featured in the votes this season, and the third time as the best player on the ground.

Zac Williams polled seven votes for what was arguably his best outing in the Navy Blue.

The defender collected 26 disposals for the game, along with eight intercepts, seven clearances and 626 metres gained: the most of any Carlton player on the day.

Featuring across half back, Williams' performance was capped off with a classy goal in the second term: Carlton's eighth of the term, which ultimately opened up a game-high 34-point lead.

Jacob Weitering rounded out the votes with six to his name for this week, with the John Nicholls Medallist continuing his outstanding form in the Blues' back half.

Weitering picked up 22 disposals, 16 marks (a career-high) and 12 intercepts, proving vital for Carlton's back line when Adelaide tried to claw its way back into the game after a dominant first half from the Blues.

Round 15 votes: Sam Walsh (10), Zac Williams (7), Jacob Weitering (6), Rory Laird (5), Jordan Butts (1), Paul Seedsman (1).
