The Carlton Football Club can confirm that midfielder Marc Murphy has sustained a low-grade calf strain.

The injury occurred in the first quarter of Sunday’s win over Adelaide, with Murphy immediately subbed out of the game as a result.

Scans have today confirmed the extent of the strain, which at this stage is expected to sideline him for the next two weeks.
