Working tirelessly in the backline throughout the afternoon, the defender collected 14 disposals and three marks over the course of the day while also maintaining her tackle pressure under the Kangaroos attack.

After what had been a slow start at Moorabbin, Laloifi piled on her defensive pressure to quell the Saints' attack and provide the Blues opportunities out of defense, but her best came in the final quarter.

The Blues had the benefit of a 15-point lead heading into the final term, but early in the quarter the Saints threatened a reinvigorated attack.

A crafty save from the No.8 sparked the Blues to put them beyond doubt, going on to finish the game strongly in their first win of the season.
