THE TEAM is in for Carlton VFLW’s Round 2 clash with Port Melbourne.
The Blues will be looking to register their first win of the season when they head to La Trobe University for Sunday afternoon’s clash.
Kicking off at 2:30pm, the Blues will be looking to right the wrongs of their Round 1 loss to the Demons.
The Blues will be bolstered by Jess Edwards, with the talented Game Changer set to bring her experience and class across the midfield and backline.
Paige Trudgeon will also look to build on a strong first performance up forward, she provided a strong marking target for the Blues in the forward line while also contributing two goals in her first outing in the Navy Blue.
Carlton will also need to draw on the experience of vice-captain Jen Lew who played an important role in defence in Round 1 and will again be crucial against a Port Melbourne team full of confidence after a rampaging 33-point win over North Melbourne.
