THE Carlton Football Club is pleased to announce defender Caleb Marchbank has re-signed until at least the end of the 2022 season.

The 23-year-old has penned a new two-year deal to remain at Ikon Park having played 41 games for the Blues since joining the Club at the end of 2016.

A knee injury curtailed the first half of his 2020 campaign but the emerging defender returned with some impressive performances at reserve level which will set up his pre-season campaign.

Carlton Head of List Management Nick Austin said the Club was looking forward to seeing Marchbank back to his best in 2021.

“Caleb has had to show significant resilience in the last few years and as a football club we are proud of how he has handled every challenge that has been placed before him,” Austin said.

“He is a very talented footballer who has already shown what he is capable of in the Navy Blue jumper. We know he can add a lot for us down back so we’re excited to see what he can produce in the next few years.”
