The Northern Blues’ Round 3 clash against Coburg on Sunday 30 April will pay tribute to the life of Vicki Cleary and honour victims and survivors of family violence.
Murdered by her former partner 30 years ago, Vicki was a passionate Coburg and Carlton supporter and the sister of Coburg club legend Phil Cleary.
Since his sister’s tragic death, Phil – a member of the Victim Survivors’ Advisory Council – has been unwavering in his commitment to create legal, cultural and social change to end family violence.
Phil and the Coburg Football Club are calling on the Carlton faithful to show its support at Sunday’s match and join as one team with one common goal to end family violence.
