FOR the second straight week, Carlton will blood an AFL debutant when Josh Honey gets his opportunity on Saturday night.
The first-year rookie will become Carlton player No.1216 when he pulls on the Navy Blue against Fremantle.
Honey - who becomes Carlton’s seventh club debutant in 11 games - has been rewarded for exciting form at reserves level.
The explosive half-forward has been one of the Blues’ standout players in the recent scratch matches, with Head of Football Brad Lloyd confirming on SEN that Honey would be making his senior debut.
The final team will be announced at 6:20pm tonight.
