REVERSING the trend.
As Carlton readies itself for its final game in the WA hub, it will be desperate to change the pattern which has marred its last fortnight.
The Blues once again had a fast start to last weekend's game, only to lose momentum as the game went on.

Assistant coach Cameron Bruce told SportFM that keeping control in game has become a priority for the Blues.
“It's just basically focusing on what we can control and that’s what the players are looking at: that’s what we as a coaching group are really looking at,” Bruce said.
“Sometimes it might be ugly and we’ve got to be content with that and just try and eliminate the scoring.”
While the Blues have been fast in the attacking half early on, Bruce mentioned that their defensive work is a big focus for the side.
This is big.

“There’s a way you want to move the ball when a side has momentum but you probably want to get the ball off the opposition when they’ve got it,” he said.
“We really pride ourselves on being a contested side and we’ve been doing that for the majority of games. It’s just about doing it for longer and we’re confident we’ll get there.”
Carlton will be facing an in-form Fremantle this weekend, with Bruce admitting the side looks dangerous.
“Freo have been really impressive, we’ve had a good look at them the last few days and they’re putting some really good football together,” he said.
“We’re very respectful of the way they’re going about it, they’ve obviously got some very impressive players around the contest, around the midfield, the young guys are contributing and winning a lot of ball.
“The way they defend has been really impressive, we’re going to have to move the ball well and really challenge them.”
