Ryan Houlihan has played more games for Carlton than any other player on the 2008 list. However due to injury he has not played since early in the season and has become one of Carlton's forgotten men as the Blues have gone on to win seven matches. A niggling hip injury had caused some problems with game preparation but after the round 3 match this season it was time to have it repaired and the result was an operation on both hips and months of rehabilitation.
