The Guernsey Club Presentation Dinner is held in honour of those who provide tremendous support to each player throughout the season. Held at the Grand Hyatt on the 13 March, the night was a great success with each sponsor and their guest enjoying an intimate three course meal with their sponsored player.
President Stephen Kernahan and Senior Coach Brett Ratten started the night discussing the players’ pre-season campaign, providing insider knowledge and previewing the exciting season ahead.
Throughout the night, Carlton legend Jim Buckley and his son, new recruit Dylan Buckley, were interviewed by Sean Cosgrove about life in the Buckley household. The conversation was full of laughs with details of the differences in the club between the 80s and today.

The evening ended with a player forum hosted by forward coach John Barker, which involved a Q&A with Andrew Carrazzo, Jarrad Waite and Ed Curnow. Sponsors asked tough and personal questions to the boys with some very entertaining answers about triplets, haircuts and other change room banter!
Enjoyed by all, the Guernsey Club dinner was a huge success with the team and sponsors alike, excited about what season 2012 will bring.
