Approximately 80 enthusiastic participants completed the inaugural Reclink "Beat the Blues" fun run around Princes Park last Thursday.

With conditions perfect for a run, some of the community's most vulnerable and isolated people were led by Carlton great Anthony Koutoufides around the famous running track, finishing with a lap of Visy Park.

Artist Wylie J ensured that participants were in the right frame of mind before the run with his rendition of the song "Don't Worry, Be Happy".

After the run, "Kouta" addressed the participants about the positive mental and physical effects that health and fitness can have on lives.

Reclink Australia, one of the Club's charity partners in 2012, is a charitable organisation whose mission is to provide sporting, social and arts activities to enhance the lives of people experiencing disadvantage. To learn more about there fantastic work in the community, click here.
