Yarran is back
The Blues have named a 25-man squad for Sunday’s match with Andrew Collins and Bret Thornton joining Chris Yarran as inclusions.
After missing the last three weeks with an injured toe, Yarran will return to celebrate his 50 game milestone in what is a very important game.
Jarrad Waite is also due to celebrate a milestone on Sunday, Waite is set to become the 71st person to play 150 games for Carlton.
The Blues have named a 25-man squad for Sunday’s match with Andrew Collins and Bret Thornton joining Chris Yarran as inclusions to the 22-players who were in action at Etihad Stadium on Monday night against St Kilda.
The final team, 22 and three emergencies, will be named on Friday afternoon and the squad will have a final training session on Saturday morning at Visy Park. Supporters are welcome to attend this final session from 10:00am with the Carlton Shop and Carlton Café open.
Sunday’s match is part of the AFL’s Indigenous Round to celebrate Land and Country. The Indigenous Round celebrates and acknowledges the contribution that Indigenous communities make to our game.
The Carlton Football Club is proud to have had a number of indigenous representatives over the years, including dual premiership player Syd Jackson. Current indigenous players Eddie Betts, Chris Yarran, Jeffrey Garlett and Andrew Walker are proud representatives and ambassadors for the indigenous community.
Chris Yarran will toss the coin prior to Sunday’s match.
