Courageous defender Jeremy Laidler has begun his road to recovery, after having knee surgery three weeks ago.

The 22 year old first injured his knee in a NAB Cup match against Western Bulldogs in February, a dislocatation that required arthroscopic surgery.

"The first time I hurt it, probably looked a whole lot worst than it actually was and I was able to get myself up for Round One," he said.

However in the opening minute of the Blues clash against Essendon in Round Four, Jeremy took an unlucky knock to the same knee and dislocated it again.

"It was a good thing that it went straight back in and I played out the match, but obviously the damage this time was more significant and I needed surgery to repair my stretched ligament," he said.

In a CFC TV exclusive Jeremy gives us the rundown on how his rehab is going and how he plans to support his teammates while being restricted to the boundary for the next month.
