The Carlton Football Club has confirmed the two players involved in an incident at Crown early Sunday morning, Ryan Houlihan and Andrew Walker, have been disciplined.

"This incident is unacceptable and a poor reflection on the Carlton Football Club. It is an even greater disappointment to have this type of behaviour at a time when we are making considerable improvements to the Club on and off the field. We have introduced new programs in the training and education areas and will be moving into the new state of the art training facilities in the New Year," said Carlton CEO Greg Swann.

The players have been disciplined by the Club and fined to the maximum penalty under the AFL/AFLPA Code of Conduct. Further sanctions will be considered when the players and coaches return from their annual leave in January.
