Kreuzer’s Back
Matthew Kreuzer has been named in the first ruck in the Carlton squad to play Brisbane at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Matthew Kreuzer is set to make his return to AFL football after being named in the first ruck for Sunday’s game against Brisbane at Etihad Stadium. Kreuzer has not played AFL since injuring his knee in round 13 last year, having played the last three games for the Northern Bullants in the VFL.
Joining Kreuzer in the 18 are Paul Bower and Lachie Henderson,. Two other player may also return to the AFL with Ryan Houlihan and Rob Warnock named on the extended interchange bench for Sunday’s game. Warnock having missed the last two matches with concussion while Houlihan has played four VFL matches after recovering from a pre-season injury.
Missing from last week’s side are Jarrad Waite and Setanta O’hAilpin who will both miss with injury. Waite suffered hamstring tightness following last week’s game and O’hAilpin has a hand injury.
