Three Carlton players have finished in the Top 10 in Monday night’s 2009 Brownlow Medal.

In no real surprise, Carlton skipper Chris Judd finished second in the count, eight votes behind the eventual winner, Gary Ablett.

Carlton’s new breed of Marc Murphy and Bryce Gibbs also polled well, finishing equal seventh, along with St Kilda Captain Nick Riewoldt on 15 votes.

Carlton spearhead and Coleman Medallist, Brendan Fevola polled 11 votes.
